며칠 전 묵혀뒀던 미드나잇 인 파리를 봤다.

주인공이 파리의 밤거리를 걷다가 모르는 사람의 차를 타게 되고 어느 클럽에서 내리게 된다. 클럽에선 콜 포터가 피아노를 치면서노래를 부른다.

영화를 보면서 ost를 잘 인식하지 못하는 편인데 이 노래는 달랐다. 처음 듣는 노래였는데 들을수록 좋아졌다. 영화 후반부에 한 번 더 등장하는데 그 장면도 좋아서 몇 번이고 돌려봤다. 골동품가게에서 콜 포터의 레코드를 사는 장면인데 ost와 참 잘어울렸다.

원곡도 좋지만 처음 접한 Conal Fowkes의 버전에 더 마음이 간다. 듣고 있으면 당장이라도 사랑이 하고싶어진다.
